After the “Jaws of Hakkon” add-on was released only on the Xbox One and PC earlier this year, all BioWare could reveal to fans was that the Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC would eventually make its way to additional platforms at some point in May. Even recently, the developer told fans that that the exclusivity contract that gave Microsoft early access to the content prevented them from further discussing the subject or even providing fans with an exact release date. On Thursday evening, however, BioWare finally confirmed from their official Twitter account that the Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC will officially launch on the PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360 on May 26.

The add-on’s release across all platforms will finally give Dragon Age: Inquisition players the opportunity to enjoy the new content regardless of what console they own. The Jaws of Hakkon DLC gives Dragon Age: Inquisition users access to a new story that gives players additional maps to explore that is filled with all-new content.

Dragon Age: Inquisition – “Jaws of Hakkon”

The upcoming launch date for Dragon Age: Inquisition ‘s DLC on the PlayStation 4 and last-gen consoles was first reported by Attack of the Fanboy earlier this week . At the time, BioWare was still unable to talk about the release of the add-on. So, when fans asked if there was any truth to the report, Dragon Age: Inquisition creative director Mike Laidlaw revealed to players on Twitter that they simply couldn’t discuss anything that wasn’t already officially announced.

“Sorry, we can’t comment on rumors.”

Also coming to Dragon Age: Inquisition in the same month, BioWare has confirmed that the next major title update for their popular role-playing game will go live at some point in May. While a specific date has not yet been announced, the update is expected to feature the anticipated Black Emporium, which will give gamers the ability to alter their Dragon Age: Inquisition character’s appearance, hair, and voice.

As recently reported by the Inquisitr , BioWare has also revealed that they are through making new content for Dragon Age: Inquisition. Laidlaw has confirmed that the developer is currently working on new unannounced content for the game. Unfortunately, details on what this new secretive content might be weren’t given, but fans can definitely expect something new to be added to Dragon Age: Inquisition in the future.

Do you still plan on picking up the Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC or did the timed exclusivity of “Jaws of Hakkon” sour your experience?
