Season 2 of Bringing Up Bates is on the way, and there’s a lot of great news for the Bates family to share in these new episodes. Fans already know some of the exciting developments thanks to social media, but everybody is anxious to see it actually play out on-screen. UP TV shared a sneak peek into the new season, and it will definitely have fans chomping at the bit for Season 2 to begin.
UP TV shared a brief preview showcasing Gil and Kelly Jo Bates along with their 19 kids. During Season 1, fans got to see the Bates family welcome their first grandchild as Zach and Whitney had Bradley, and the family learned that both Alyssa Webster and Erin Paine were expecting as well.
Many Bringing Up Bates fans know that Alyssa and John Webster welcomed Allie Jane earlier in April. The family has shared some updates and pictures, and the Season 2 teaser shows a bit about the family’s excitement. Viewers also saw Erin and Chad Paine reveal their pregnancy, and their baby boy Carson is due in June. It looks like viewers will get to see both of these pregnancies, and hopefully deliveries, play out in the new season.
In addition, show fans know that Brandon has been courting Michael, who often goes by Michaella, for some time now. The family recently revealed that Michael and Brandon are now engaged, and the Bringing Up Bates spoiler preview shows a bit of that playing out as well. It looks like fans will get to go ring shopping with Brandon, as well as watch him ask Gil for his blessing. So far, the engaged couple hasn’t revealed any details regarding a wedding date, but that will surely be covered in the new season.
The preview shows plenty of light-hearted, fun stuff as the rest of the Bates’ 19 kids embrace new adventures. While there aren’t any teases about additional courtships or other big family news, fans always buzz about additional possibilities. Many tend to speculate about the possibility of a courtship between a Bates and Duggar family member, as both Bringing Up Bates fans and 19 Kids and Counting fans would have a blast with that. However, so far nothing has come together on that front as far as fans have been told.
Season 2 of Bringing Up Bates , featuring Gil, Kelly Jo, their 19 kids, and the new grandbabies premieres, on Thursday, June 4 on UP TV.
