Marvel’s Daredevil series on Netflix turned into a surprise success that received more than its share of critical acclaim and social media buzz. Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock turned out to be popular enough to be picked up for a second season . Can he match this adorable tyke’s take on the “Man Without Fear” though?

Meet 3-year old Parker as he gives his cosplay take on Daredevil that is already generating “Awwwws” around social media. The adorable pics come from City Light Studios , which is run by Parker’s father, John Nettles.

Nettles shoots cosplay photos for comics and video games with pictures of everything from Tomb Raider to Rogue from the X-Men. Occasionally, he enlists the aid of his young son in cute setups. Parker has previously appeared as pint-sized Tony Stark and a baby Finn from Adventure Time . He also made a great Link from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time .

For Daredevil, Nettles donned Parker in the same kind of costume that Murdock used in the Netflix series and took some fiercely cute photos of the little guy around their hometown of Charleston, South Carolina.

“The mask is really only good for photoshoots, not walking around in,” Nettles said of the costume to one of the comments on the City Light Studio Facebook page. “Parker could not see through it — it was essentially a large blindfold.”

Well, Daredevil is technically blind, so it’s only fair that Parker can’t see either. He still looks ready to defend Hell’s Kitchen from the Kingpin’s crime syndicate. Or, at least save the city from some villainous action figures.

How does Parker’s Daredevil compare to Netflix’s?

All 13 episodes of Marvel’s Daredevil series is available to watch only on Netflix. It’s the first part of introducing a new branch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe based on The Defenders comic book. In addition to a second season of the show, additional series based on Jessca Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist will also be produced. This all leads into The Defenders series.

The heroes of The Defenders are a group that primarily takes on the kind of conflicts that don’t rise to the attention of The Avengers or other major superheroes. There are rumors of potential cross-over between these series and Marvel’s cinematic efforts, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

If the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. show on ABC is any indication though, the potential for cameos and story tie-ins are a definite possibility.
