Beverly Hills’ Kim Richards was arrested last week at the Beverly Hills Hotel, and in the days leading up to her alleged “drunken rampage,” the Real Housewives star was reportedly “horrible” to those around her.
On April 17, a source revealed the following to Us Weekly .
“Kim has been on the outs from her family recently. Things are so bad that nobody can deal with her. You can’t even talk to her for two seconds — she turns horrible to everybody.”
On Thursday in Beverly Hills, as the Inquisitr previously reported, Richards was taken into custody after reportedly causing a stir at the hotel, where she has long been a regular. During her visit to the hotel’s restaurant, the Polo Lounge, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star began drinking again after years of sobriety, and things quickly took a turn for the worse.
After she reportedly became “belligerent,” via E! News , Richards was cut off from alcoholic beverages by the Beverly Hills bartender, which immediately sent her into an alleged rage and led to the Beverly Hills Police Department being called.
Once the Beverly Hills Police arrived on the scene, they attempted to remove Richards from the premises, but she first requested a bathroom break. The police, of course, allowed the Beverly Hills native to use the restroom, but instead of doing so and coming back out, Richards refused to leave. Because of her refusal, the Beverly Hills Police were forced to removed Richards with a “minimal amount” of force.
After being taken into custody in Beverly Hills, Richards reportedly kicked a police officer.
As for the moments leading up to her arrest, Richards was reportedly confronted by friends and family who wanted to help her so that something like this wouldn’t happen.
“Kim has had a billion chances from the family. This is so embarrassing. She’s just spiraling out of control.”
On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ fifth season, Richards admitted to taking a pain killer, which she was not prescribed. Right away, fans and her co-stars worried about what may happen next. Now, it appears their concern was for good reason.
During her arrest, the Beverly Hills reality star was charged with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer, and battery on a police officer. Richards will appear in court on June 11 to address the charges.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 comes to an end on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
