Could Bethenny Frankel’s weight negatively affect her daughter? The latest report regarding the Real Housewives of New York City star claims Frankel’s thin frame may be setting a bad example for her 4-year-old.

According to an April 13 report by Radar Online , Hoppy has begun “voicing concerns, about [Bethenny Frankel]’s weight and obsession with being skinny and how it could affect their daughter, Bryn.”

“Bethenny is meticulous about the food that Bryn eats, and typically prepares it herself. Always organic and extremely nutritious, her diet does not include any junk food. Jason is a bit more relaxed about what Bryn eats, and does enjoy taking her to McDonald’s for a Happy Meal once in a while. His approach is everything in moderation.”

Radar’s source claimed Hoppy’s biggest concern was that Bethenny Frankel’s entire Skinnygirl brand, which offers liquor, drinks, meal bars, snacks and more, is built around being skinny, which could put a lot of pressure on the child to be skinny herself.

“He just wants to make sure that Bryn’s self esteem isn’t focused entirely on looks.”

The source also commented on a recent episode of The Real Housewives of New York City , which featured Bethenny Frankel’s co-star, Luann de Lesseps asking the Skinnygirl mogul if she and Hoppy were friendly. In response, Bethenny Frankel revealed she fantasized about that sort of scenario, but at that point in filming, which took place late last year, that was far from the case.

Even now, claimed the source, things remain strained. That isn’t to say, however, that Hoppy doesn’t want to be civil with Bethenny Frankel.

“Jason would love to have a friendly relationship with Bethenny. Co-parenting Bryn together would be ideal, and the best thing for her. However, Bethenny just can’t let go of her anger towards Jason.”

Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy got married in 2010 and split in late 2012. Since then, the couple have been at odds over the custody of their daughter, Bryn, and the distribution of Bethenny Frankel’s earnings, and their other possessions, including their New York City home.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Bethenny Frankel recently revealed she weighed 125 pounds. During an appearance on the TODAY show last week, Bethenny Frankel fought back against weight criticism, and volunteered to get on the scale and prove she was not unhealthy.
