It’s been reported that Kate Middleton might have to go through labor alone when she gives birth to her second child later this month.

The Duchess Of Cambridge is due to go into labor at some point between the middle and end of April. This coincides with the first few weeks of Prince William’s training for his new job with the East Anglican Air Ambulance.

According to Us Magazine , The Duke Of Cambridge will have to undertake this training in three locations that are each a few hours away from London.

William will be training at airfields in Cambridge, Norwich, and Staverton. The first of these options is just an hour and a half away from Kensington Palace in the centre of London, where Kate Middleton is currently resting ahead of her child’s birth, while Norwich and Staverton are two hours and one hour and 40 minutes away from the capital, respectively.

A source told Us Weekly he will “never be more than a couple hours drive from London,” and once news of her pregnancy reaches him, he will then set off to be by his wife’s side.

It’s also likely that Prince Harry will be away when either his second nephew or first niece is born, as he is currently in Australia on a royal engagement. He recently reported for four week military attachment with the Australian Defence Force. Harry’s trip has been documented on Kensington Palace’s Twitter account.

Meanwhile, according to Hello Magazine , an aide close to the couple has issued a statement thanking all of the goodwill that has been directed towards William and Kate over the last few months.

The declaration confirmed that they have been “touched” by the reaction and are “hugely grateful for the warm wishes they have received from people throughout the UK and indeed around the world over the last few months.”

However, the statement also insisted, “We would appeal to all media to respect the family nature of this moment and provide the appropriate amount of privacy that they should be able to expect.”
