Hoping to give players access to more free content, BioWare continues to work on developing new features in Dragon Age: Inquisition . After releasing a free update for the fantasy title earlier this year that added a personal storage chest to the player-run base of Skyhold, BioWare is now busy creating a black Emporium mirror that will give Dragon Age: Inquisition fans the ability to modify their character’s in-game appearance throughout the course of the game.
Last month, Dragon Age: Inquisition executive producer Mark Darrah revealed that the Black Emporium update is expected to release as part of a free patch that is currently scheduled to launch in May. Providing fans of the role-playing game with an update on the upcoming new features, Darrah revealed on his personal Twitter account that development of the customization editing mirror continues to go as planned and that the Black Emporium is still expected to become available within Dragon Age: Inquisition in May.
Without the Black Emporium mirror, the only time that players can modify their character’s appearance in Dragon Age: Inquisition is during the initial creation process. The upcoming update will provide users with the ability to finally edit their visual appearance at any point in the game. Many Dragon Age fans found it odd that the Black Emporium wasn’t included in Inquisition to begin with since the feature was first introduced in previous installments of the franchise.
The Black Emporium update isn’t the only thing that the Dragon Age: Inquisition team is currently working on. BioWare has also confirmed that the title’s Jaws of Hakkon add-on expansion will soon be heading to the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 after a timed exclusivity deal gave Xbox One and PC players an early crack at the DLC last month. As the Inquisitr previously reported , the first DLC pack for Dragon Age: Inquisition will also become available to those consoles at some point in May alongside the Black Emporium.
As fans await the release of new content for Dragon Age: Inquisition , BioWare has tried to tide players over by releasing a detailed character kit for one the series’ oldest characters. The official BioWare Blog provided gamers with a series of renders showing off Leliana from a variety of different angles. This is intended to show off the costume details of the assassin-bard so that Dragon Age: Inquisition fans can reference for future fanart and cosplay endeavors involving the spymaster of the Inquisition.
