Rockstar Games released some new screenshots for Grand Theft Auto V on PC today, showing players waiting for the long-delayed version of GTA V a glimpse of what’s coming.

The high-resolution screenshots showcase GTA V in a way that current versions of the game can’t begin to do so. The PC version of Grand Theft Auto V will feature native 4K resolution support, adding to the higher graphical fidelity of the screenshots.

Rockstar is claiming that the PC version of GTA V has been optimized to take advantage of the “latest and greatest hardware with an abundance of PC-specific enhancements.” What those enhancements are have yet to be officially revealed in full though we do know that a PC-exclusive video editor is coming to Grand Theft Auto V . It had been rumored that AMD’s Mantle API support would come to the PC game, while Nvidia Gameworks pulled down a setting on their GTA V page claiming TXAA support was coming.

However you look at it, the improved and scaleable graphics as well as 60 frames-per-second gameplay peg to make the PC version of GTA V the best yet. In addition, current-gen console players might actually be experiencing a graphics nerf with a recent patch to the game. reported by Kotaku . Rockstar confirmed this and released a statement saying they are aware of the bug and a fix is on the way.

Announced alongside the screenshots is the news that a new GTA V trailer will be coming next week. The official PC trailer for Grand Theft Auto V will hopefully mark that the game is releasing on April 14, as it’s already been delayed twice from its original January date. However, most fans have been understanding of the delays, as hopefully that points to a working product when it finally launches.

Rockstar also reminded fans that the current pre-order bonuses for Grand Theft Auto V will expired on March 31, as reported previously by the Inquisitr . The bonus includes $1.5 million of in-game currency ($500K to Story mode, the rest for your GTA Online character).

The PC screenshots for Grand Theft Auto V truly showcase the visual beauty of what is essentially a game from 2013. While the PC version might be brand new on the scene, GTA V has enjoyed massive critical success to which hopefully this beefier version of the game can help contribute.

Grand Theft Auto V releases on PC April 14.
