Kyle Richards say she went into the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion taping with hopes of reconciling with Kim Richards. However, the reality TV stars says the reunion did not provide any resolution between the Richards sisters, nor with any of the other cast members.
On Tuesday night’s Watch What Happens Live , Andy Cohen and Kyle Richards sat down to talk about the RHOBH season finale. During the WWHL episode, Andy gives viewers another sneak peak from the reunion. In the clip, Andy asks Kyle Richards how long it has been since the sisters have spoken, to which she responds it had been a little over three months at the time the reunion was taped. Kim Richards speaks up and says the sisters have issues they need to work out, maybe through therapy, but for now, Kim is apparently okay with the strained relationship between the two.
“We definitely have some things that we need to work on, but it has to take place outside this setting with a therapist and…you know, if we think it’s something we want to work on. At this point right now, I’m really okay just the way things are.”
Breaking from the sneak peek clip, Andy tells Kyle Richards he knew what Kim said at the reunion had to be a huge blow since the WWHL host spoke to Kyle right before the reunion taping and she had said then that she hoped to reconcile with her sister during the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion.
“You know, obviously going into the reunion, you hope for some resolution at the end, but I don’t think at this reunion, anybody had any resolution.”
The sisters’ relationship has always been tumultuous, but fans watched this season as the animosity between the two reached new levels. Throughout the entire fifth season of RHOBH , Kyle Richards has been on the defensive as Kim Richards accused her sister of not being supportive, not defending her against Lisa Rinna, and as she again implied Kyle stole their mother’s house. While Kim Richards vehemently maintained through the entire season she does not want anyone butting into her business, including her sobriety, and Kyle allowing others to do so without defending her is one of Kim’s beefs with Kyle, she recently said she would like to return for the sixth season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . A source tells Radar Online that Kim is willing to continue with the show, despite the feud with her sister, because she has Brandi Glanville in her corner and she no longer needs Kyle’s support.
Part one of the three-part Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion airs Tuesday, March 31 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
