A Polish priest has launched a blistering attack on Cheetos, warning that the chips are “evil” and children who eat them will soon be “nourished by demons.”

The Mirror has reported that Fronda.pl , a Catholic website that is run by right-wing religious fanatics, uploaded their thoughts because they believe that children who eat the chips, the packets of which are adorned with figures of skeletons and vampires, will be inspired by the “evil” iconography.

The Telegraph has also alleged that an anonymous author took to the website to warn parents against letting their children eat the snack.

“Parents be aware of demonic crisps. Demons, skeletons and vampires – these are the new variants of Cheetos snacks. All under the guise of innocent family fun. Is this not dabbling in the dangerous world of demons?”

A spokesperson for the aforementioned website has since backed the remarks, insisting that the packets for the chips are “dangerous.”

“We view these crisps as dangerous as by eating them children will be nourished by demons,” they stated.

However, Cheetos has since fought back in their battle with the website. In fact, a spokesman for the company has also responded, declaring, “The Cheetos Monsters range in Poland was inspired by all-things spooky but fun and we’re surprised to hear that other links have been suggested.”

This isn’t the first time that a Polish priest has taken umbrage with a peculiar item. Last year, Father Slawomir Kostrzewa attacked LEGO and insisted that it represented a “world of death.” Father Kostrzewa believes that their zombie and monster fighter figurines could entice children and infants of all ages “to the dark side.”

Then, back in 2013, Father Pawel Popielnicki, another Polish priest, attacked both My Little Pony and Hello Kitty, stating that they were created by Satan.
