Taylor McKinney and Maci Bookout appear to have hit a rough patch during filming on Teen Mom OG . In new sneak peek at the upcoming season, the couple are seen discussing their living arrangements after McKinney relocates from Dallas to Tennessee to live with Bookout full-time.
On March 23, Radar Online reported on the clip, which featured Bookout seemingly questioning her decision to move Taylor McKinney in with her and her son, 6-year-old Bentley Edwards.
“You think it’s going to work out babe, living with me?” Bookout asks Taylor McKinney in the Teen Mom OG sneak peek, via OK! Magazine .
Although Bookout appeared to be iffy about their decision to move in after dating long distance for a year and a half, Taylor McKinney was more prepared for the obstacles they would face.
“If we made it a year and a half doing long distance, that was hard. There will be bumps along the way.”
Taylor McKinney met Bookout after she appeared for four seasons on Teen Mom . However, when she filmed Being Maci , an MTV special, Taylor McKinney chose to steer clear of the cameras, since their relationship was new at the time. Then, ahead of filming on Teen Mom OG , the couple began living together, and filming started soon after.
One of the major issues Bookout was concerned for was Taylor McKinney’s interaction with Ryan Edwards, the father of her son Bentley. Even though the pair had been dating for quite some time ahead of filming, McKinney had yet to meet Edwards.
“You haven’t even met Ryan yet! You could be the juiciest peach in the world, and there’s still somebody who doesn’t like peaches.”
Since welcoming son Bentley, Bookout’s relationship with Edwards has been strained, and judging by the Teen Mom OG trailer, not much has changed between them years later. In one particular scene from the upcoming season, Edwards was seen calling Bookout a “dumba–” after the pair was seen feuding over the time in which they were supposed to meet and exchange Bentley.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Bookout gushed over Taylor McKinney, with whom she’s expecting a baby girl in July, on Twitter earlier this year. After a fan expressed her excitement in the new season, and meeting Taylor McKinney for the first time, Bookout tweeted the following.
“He’s a keeper!”
