Anna Kendrick and John Krasinski appear on Lip Sync Battle , a new show where celebs go head-to-head to give their best performance of a song without actually using their voices. According to Us Weekly , several of your favorite Hollywood A-listers will lip sync against each other in a show inspired by The Tonight Show’s Jimmy Fallon (and yes, Fallon will be on the show too). The preview looks hilarious, and super fun, and it looks like there will be some surprises in store.
“Anna Kendrick and John Krasinski will face off, but sadly for The Office alum, he has his work cut out for him. During Kendrick’s booty dropping performance (she has backup dancers!), Jennifer Lopez makes a surprise appearance,” Us Weekly reports.
Anna Kendrick and John Krasinski’s Lip Sync Battle isn’t the only one that is going to catch your eye. Julianne Hough, Derek Hough, The Rock, Malin Akerman, Stephen Merchant, Common, Hoda Kotb, and John Legend, and his wife Chrissy Teigen will all be on the show.
According to Refinery 29 , Krasinski and Fallon were behind the idea to bring people a whole show featuring celebs lip syncing — and neither of them wanted to sit this one out.
“John Krasinski strips down to a silver-spangled dress and goes full Tina Turner for ‘Proud Mary.’ Jimmy Fallon has a whole gospel choir backing him up.”
Last month, Jimmy Fallon played around of Lip Sync Battle with Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Fallon upstaged both actors, and the clip is definitely worth the watch.
Lip Sync Battle will air on Spike TV on Thursdays beginning April 2. Will you tune in?
