For a few years rumors have swirled that Katie Holmes’ boyfriend is Jamie Foxx. Reports have claimed they were dating and an actual couple, and others denied the allegations. In the latest People report published , sources tell the magazine that the two A-list movie stars are, indeed, seeing each other. It’s not what you might think, however.
An insider tells People this isn’t some “intense romance.”
“This is not some intense romance. Jamie and Katie are friends and have been for a long time. They are two adults who are attractive and single, and so apparently conclusions will be drawn.
But contrary to those conclusions, they’re not about to run off and make some serious commitment.”
Another source reveals that Holmes visits Foxx a lot at his home. The insider tells People that Katie purchased a home in L.A. for she and Suri. Foxx lives nearby, so he and Holmes visit “together for hours” at a time.
Friends of Tom Cruise’s ex-wife say she’s open to another relationship, but they don’t see her taking things to the “next level” with Foxx.
Conclusions have been drawn that Katie Holmes’ boyfriend is Jamie Foxx — or are seriously involved. U.K’s Mail Online lists the times Holmes, 36, and Foxx, 47, have been spotted together. They were dancing together at the East Hamptons in August, 2013. They were also seen looking cozy with their arms intertwined while attending a 2014 Super Bowl party.
The British news source speculates that it’s possible Foxx plays down his relationship with Holmes because of his friendship with Cruise, whom he starred with in Collateral in 2014. Cruise had nothing but praise for Foxx when he received the MTV Generation Award at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards.
“I love Jamie. First of all, he’s just an amazing human being, just so multi-talented,” Cruise said.
Holmes told People magazine in November that she’s a “loving person” and that she’d like to “find love” again.
Reps for Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx haven’t responded to the latest report.
The Inquisitr has covered headlines involving the rumored relationship of the pair. Foxx denounced rumors back in 2013 that he and Katie were romantically linked. The actor said: “[The rumors] are one hundred percent not true. In fact, it’s quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people.”
Once again, it appears that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx aren’t dating. This won’t be the last time someone has to say there’s nothing going on between the stars other than friendship.
