Kitchie Nadal had a beautifully simply wedding when she married boyfriend Carlos in Tagaytay City late last month, and now pictures and video of the ceremony are making their way onto the internet.
The 34-year-old singer-songwriter was married in a Christian ceremony on February 26. She met her now-husband Carlos after he moved to the Philippines to work for an organization that rebuilds homes in Bantayan Island, Cebu.
Interest in the wedding is extremely high. Many news outlets have published pictures from the Kitchie Nadal wedding, and her wedding has become one of the most popular Google search terms in the Philippines .
There was initially video from the wedding, posted by videographer Jason Magbanua, but it has since been taken down from Vimeo and made private.
But there are still plenty of details about what went on at the wedding. News reports gathered before the video disappeared detailed the vows that Kitchie Nadal shared with her husband.
“Carlos, thank you for being my answered prayer and to many who have prayed for me to meet the one that I’m going to be with for the rest of my life,” Kitchie said, with tears in her eyes.
“You make me realize what it’s like being one – working towards the same goal and always going in the same directions together, united,” said Carlos.
While he may have taken the video down, Magbanua was able to share some details on Facebook about how Kitchie Nadal kept the wedding very small.
“Fifteen was the number of guests present to witness Kitchie and Carlo’s wedding in Hacienda Isabela.
It was no fuss, no frill. As simple as can be.
And when you think about it, when stripped down to its core, the essence of a wedding is laid bare – two persons committing to one another. Not unlike an acoustic set by a singer songwriter strumming her guitar.
Now that’s a rock and roll wedding.”
