Chris Brown is reportedly a father. According to a new report, the rapper welcomed a daughter nine months ago with a 31-year-old model named Nia.
On March 3, TMZ announced Chris Brown’s baby news.
Although the rapper has yet to confirm the news, sources claim he and Nia have known one another for several years, and are currently on good terms. They aren’t, however, romantic at this time, and Chris Brown is believed to still be dating Karrueche Tran.

As the Inquisitr reported last month, Chris Brown appeared on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club , where he admitted to wanting children with both his former girlfriend, Rihanna, and his current girlfriend, Tran. According to Hollywood Life , he even suggested he should have gotten them both pregnant at the same time.
“At the time when I was doing my wam wam with both, get both of them, then boom, I’m good. That would have been my ultimate boom!”
As for marriage, Chris Brown said it wasn’t something that’s in the cards for himself and Tran.
“I’m cool having a baby. I’m not cool with giving you half of what I’ve earned all my life. Prenups all that, it’s cool. I just think marriage … in our generation marriage has been distorted to our generation of people because it hasn’t worked. The older generations… it worked.”
For the last several years, Chris Brown has juggled relationships with Rihanna and Tran. While Brown and Tran have been an official couple on-and-off for years now, his desire to maintain his friendship with Rihanna has put strain on their courtship.
Another struggle the couple deals with is their tendencies to fight on social media. On more than one occasion, Brown and Tran have vented about the other on Twitter and Instagram, but ultimately ended up back together.
In the latest issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine , Hilary Duff weighed in on the couple’s dramatic social media activity , advising them, “Come on, guys. Keep it between text messages.”
TMZ also claimed that Chris Brown and Nia don’t appear to have a custody order for the support of their daughter, and stated that the rapper was “happy” to be a father.
No word yet on how Tran feels about Chris Brown’s baby news.
