Britney Spears had a stage mishap recently in Las Vegas. Although Spears’ mishap is embarrassing, it’s not nearly as bad as the one Madonna suffered last week at the BRIT Awards.

According to the Huffington Post , Britney Spears had a hair mishap at Planet Hollywood while performing the song “Do Something.” Her loose blond hair extensions fell to the ground as she kept dancing. Nobody seemed to mind as the audience kept screaming during the performance.
Britney Spears can at least be happy that she wasn’t pulled down a flight of stairs like Madonna was at the BRIT Awards last week. In what seemed like a horrific tumble, Madonna at least got up to finish her song. The New York Post quotes Madonna in explaining what happened at the BRIT Awards.
“Everybody was worried my cape was going to slide off because it’s quite heavy, so they tied it really tight around my neck. I pulled my silky string, and it would not come undone. And my two lovely Japanese dancers basically strangled me off the stage.”
Stage mishaps are game for performers such as Britney Spears and Madonna. Unfortunately for them (but fortunately for us), there are always people there to record the mishaps. Britney Spears is trying to take the attention away from her mishap by talking with Extra about her possible marriage with Charlie Ebersol.
“You never know,” she told the interviewer about a possible marriage. “I’m very blessed to have him as a part of my life, that’s very cool.”
Britney also talked about Iggy Azalea to Extra.
“I saw her song on TV and I was like a kid in a candy store, I was like, I love Iggy, I love that video, I want to work with her, and it was really weird, because a week after that her manager was like, ‘She’s a huge fan of yours.’ I was like, ‘Let’s do something together,’ so it worked out.”
Britney Spears has been doing her residency at Planet Hollywood for more than a year. The show has been so successful that Spears is considering adding dates, at least according to the Las Vegas Sun . Reporter Robin Leach says Britney Spears will add new dates for her fall shows at Planet Hollywood that will be announced shortly, with tickets going on sale early spring.
