Yolanda Hadid’s battle with Lyme disease reportedly caused a change in filming on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 reunion.

In a new report, a source opened up about Yolanda Hadid’s latest struggles, revealing that her devastating disease has severely impacted her everyday life. Bravo reportedly moved up filming in order to better accommodate her.

“Battling lyme disease has taken a toll on [Yolanda Hadid],” an insider told Radar Online on February 27.

“The reunions are typically filmed between the final episodes of the season. [Yolanda Hadid] wanted to be a part of it, but because of her ongoing treatment, and memory issues, she needed the reunion to film earlier than it had been scheduled. The producers consulted with the other ladies, and they had no problem with doing it earlier.”

According to the source, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion taping took a whopping eight hours, but Yolanda Hadid was only able to participate for two.

“It would have just been way too hard for her to do the entire day.”

The source claimed filming was “very emotional” for Yolanda Hadid, and during filming, she spoke candidly with host Andy Cohen about her disease.

As the Inquisitr reported last month, Yolanda Hadid opened up about her Lyme disease struggles in a blog for Bravo. Writing to fans, she revealed she suffered a relapse late last year, and hasn’t been the same since.

In her blog, Yolanda Hadid said that while writing is typically her favorite thing to do, she was unable to write in “an intelligent matter” at the time. Following her Lyme disease relapse, Yolanda Hadid was only able to get around 60 percent recovery from the illness, which resulted in her losing the ability to read, write, and watch TV.

“It feels like someone came in and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see life go by without me participating in it.”

At this point, it is unknown whether or not Yolanda Hadid will be able to participate in the upcoming sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , and if she leaves the series, she may not be alone.

As Us Weekly recently reported , Glanville, a friend of Yolanda Hadid, is on the verge of being axed from the series after being deemed a trouble maker by the series’ creator, Andy Cohen.
