Rymir Satterthwaite is trying to take his claim to court in order to get a judge to force Jay Z to submit DNA for a paternity test.
This would’t be the first time someone tried to take Jay to court over a paternity issue. In 2010, Rymir’s mother accused Jay Z of fathering her son and asked a judge to intervene then. Lucky for Jay, the judge denied, saying he had “ no jurisdiction ” over the rapper, according to AllHipHop .
The court also discredited Wanda for waiting “ seventeen years to name a second person as the father of her child ,” says the New York Daily News .
So what makes Wanda and possibly Jay’s son think that he will succeed where his mother couldn’t?
Rymir is claiming that the reason Jay wasn’t forced to take a paternity test is because Jay “gave the judge false and fraudulent information regarding where he lives to get out of taking a DNA test.”
Rymir and his mother’s claims began in 2010 after Wanda asked another man to get a DNA test to see if he was the father of her son. The test came back negative, so naturally Wanda decided to say that Jay Z was her son’s father.
So if Jay’s telling the truth and he’s not the father, why won’t he just take the test to prove it?
According to VH1 , it’s all a publicity stunt on Rymir’s end. The 21-year-old Philly native, who is an aspiring rapper, is coming forward now for the fame of it. And, what’s more, is that it could spell 99 problems for Jay.
According to VH1 , “If Jay did take the test and it proved that he’s not Rymir’s father, it would open up doors for any person to claim Jay as his father and have him take a paternity test, too.”
And who’s got time for that when you’re busy building an empire that spans the music, sports, and entertainment worlds?
Sources added that “with so many aspiring rappers, you can imagine what a mess that would become” for Jay.
This comes after a long string of unwanted attention for Jay. Jay’s faced a beef with Funkmaster Flex, a sister-in-law trying to rip him apart in an elevator, and constant rumors of an impending divorce for Jay and Bey.
Neither Jay Z nor his wife have commented on the allegations and the possible court battle.
