Naya Rivera is pregnant. The actress who is best known for playing the sassy Santana Lopez on Fox’s musical comedy series Glee announced on Tuesday that she and her husband, Ryan Dorsey, are expecting their first child together.
According to Gossip Cop , Rivera and Dorsey took to Twitter and Tumblr to post a cute pregnancy announcement stating they had a “bun in the oven,” and fans freaked out over the good news.
“Surprise! We’re having a baby! Ryan and I feel so blessed and can’t wait to welcome the newest member of our family.”
Naya, who plays Santana on Glee, recently saw her character marry Heather Morris’ on-screen alter ego, Brittany S. Pierce. Heather is also a mother, and perhaps the ladies can arrange some play dates once Naya and Ryan’s child is born.
Us Weekly reports that Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey married in a surprise secret ceremony last summer. The marriage shocked many fans as only three months earlier, Naya had split with her longtime love, and fiancé, rapper Big Sean.
On Tuesday, when Naya announced her pregnancy, fans noticed that Rivera had chosen the same day to drop her big news as Big Sean’s album was released, and not everyone agreed with the Glee star’s choice in timing and spoke out about it on Twitter.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Naya and the rest of the Glee cast wrapped filming on the series this week, and it was a very emotional time for the entire cast and crew. The show, which is currently airing its sixth and final season, will end next month and leave a whole in the hearts of viewers who have come to love the groundbreaking series so much.
Perhaps the biggest Glee story line of all time was Finn’s death. Actor Cory Monteith, who played Finn Hudson on the show, tragically died from a heroin overdose in the summer of 2013 and the show killed off his character, as well.
This week, as filming ended, Cory’s on-screen girlfriend and real-life love, Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Berry on the show, took Finn’s framed football jersey from the set and gave it a new home with her, where she’ll fondly remember her lost love and time on the television series.
