NeNe Leakes may have finally had enough of The Real Housewives of Atlanta . According to a new report, the reality star “hates” the Bravo reality show and has chosen to do the bare minimum when it comes to promoting the show. So, is she ready to move on?
“NeNe hates everything about RHOA and she’s sick of it all,” a source told Radar Online on February 20. “She hates Kenya [Moore] and Claudia [Jordan] so much and she thinks they’re bringing the show down.”
Because of NeNe Leakes’ issues with the show, she has reported failed to step up when it comes to promoting the show. While she has done what is required of her, she’s made it a point to do no more.
“NeNe doesn’t do anything other than the bare minimum of what is in her contract. She doesn’t want to blog that much or tweet about the show or the stupid fights that she’s been in.”
Instead, Leakes is reportedly focusing on other projects.
In the past few years, Leakes has transitioned into acting, both on television and on Broadway, and has also entered the world of fashion with her clothing line, the NeNe Leakes Collection.
“NeNe wants to make sure all of her other projects are going well and making her money. She spends all of her time working on her other money deals and she doesn’t care about Housewives right now.”
“NeNe is so annoyed at everything and everyone this season and she is super stubborn so she isn’t going to back down anytime soon,” the source added.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Leakes is unsure about a possible Season 8 return, and recently claimed she would rather have her own show.
“I don’t know if I have the patience for another season – all those women arguing is draining. I’d love a spin-off or talk show,” she told Radar Online .
During the interview with Radar Online , Leakes claimed her co-stars, including Moore and Jordan, are extremely jealous of her and have been hired to cause drama with her. Although Leakes was appreciative of the show because of all the doors it has opened for her, she said it has a very negative side, as well.
Leakes has been with The Real Housewives of Atlanta since Season 1.
