Cindy Crawford’s 10-year-old daughter, Kaia Gerber, has officially started her modeling career. Gerber is the new face of Young Versace, the luxury brand’s new collection for children.
The ad was shot by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Cindy, who has modeled for Versace before, was also on set to watch her daughter strike a pose. Crawford said:
“I’m so thrilled that Kaia was chosen to be part of the first Young Versace Campaign. I have so many fond memories of the times I spent with Gianni and Donatella. There is something so very special about the House of Versace. Being on-set with my daughter, watching her in front of the camera was a fantastic experience. I am so proud of her.”
The LA Times reports that the new Young Versace line (for ages 0 through 12) will feature “Medusa heads, gold studding, and an overall edgy rock ‘n roll vibe.”
