Hipster.com ‘s founder, Ethan Czahor, deleted some old tweets which he found to be “inappropriate” after he was hired by Jeb Bush’s Right to Rise PAC as the chief technology officer.
A spokesman for Bush told BuzzFeed News , the website which captured screenshots of some the deleted tweets, that the presidential hopeful “believes the comments were inappropriate” and that they were deleted at the PAC’s request.
“Governor Bush believes the comments were inappropriate. They have been deleted at our request. Ethan is a great talent in the tech world and we are very excited to have him on board the Right to Rise PAC.”
Mr. Czahor himself tweeted an apology while confirming that the tweets were deleted. He indicated that the tweets were just “some old jokes” which he had made years prior and that he no longer found them humorous or appropriate.

His apology came roughly two hours after BuzzFeed published his deleted messages on their website, according to a report on the NY Daily .
A report on Time indicated that former Florida Governor Jeb Bush had hired Ethan , a Santa Monica, California-based tech entrepreneur who co-founded the website, Hipster.com , to be his chief technology officer.
One of the tweets deleted by the new Right to Rise CTO read:
“the golds gym in san francisco has a wide selection of free weights, machines, and men who undress you with their eyes while you work out”
The Associated Press reported via ABC News that a Bush spokeswoman had indicated that Jeb was disappointed to learn of Ethan’s Twitter remarks regarding women and homosexual men.
In another tweet which was published back in 2009, and since been deleted, Czahor tweeted that a “new study confirms old belief: college female art majors are sluts, science majors are also sluts but uglier.”
The aggressive GOP presidential prospect has not yet announced his political intentions, but he did say during a conference call on Monday with staff and supporters that he planned on releasing emails from his two terms as governor of the state of Florida which would help shape his message in a prospective presidential campaign. He was quoted by the AP as having thanked “the support” from his family as he contemplates the 2016 campaign.
The Washington Post indicated that AOL purchased Hipster.com and then killed it the following February.
Ethan tweeted back in April of 2014 that he wanted to manufacture dumpsters which told kids to play “both inside of and around” in order to show children that anything is possible.
