The Teen Mom cast is complete. On Friday, it was announced that Farrah Abraham will be returning to the hit series after famously not being asked back. Of course, reactions from the internet have been mixed.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , the creator of Teen Mom spoke out , revealing that the show felt incomplete without the fourth story. While filming with Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, and Catelynn Lowell has been going on for months, the camera crews just recently caught up with Farrah. In fact, MTV cameras were there when Farrah Abraham gave her final performance at a Texas gentlemen’s club in November. Initially, it was believed that cameras were there simply to film a catch up special, and few people believed she would be reuniting with the Teen Mom cast.
In fact, it was the other three cast members who reportedly had a problem with Farrah being brought back to the show. It seems that they, like many fans, didn’t agree with Farrah’s choices post Teen Mom . Farrah has indeed branched out and established a successful career in the adult entertainment industry. Not only has she released two adult films and her own line of adult toys, she has also been nominated for AVN Awards.
Now that she is returning to the Teen Mom cast, will Farrah Abraham change her lifestyle? The strong-willed entrepreneur doesn’t plan to change a thing about her life, according to reports.
“I’m not doing anything differently that I would not do when the cameras are there or not there. I mean, I don’t know if it really benefits me to be on TV because I was most successful in my career when I was away from ‘Teen Mom.’ So if it benefits me then that’s randomly benefitting. I’m more or less looking at it to benefit Sophia.”
There is no doubt that once she left Teen Mom , Farrah Abraham’s career took off in big ways. However, as the Hollywood Take points out, the other Teen Mom cast members had issues with Farrah well before her venture into the adult entertainment business.
Amber Portwood opened up to Life & Style about her issues with Farrah Abraham at the reunion shows.
“We hated each other for a long time. Behind the scenes at reunions, there were incidents where things got heated. Nobody was backing down. We both at the time had some huge attitudes.”
Most recently, Amber has said that she has no ill feelings towards her co-star anymore, saying that she would like to “give her a hug” and reconnect.
Maci Bookout, on the other hand, was open about the fact that Farrah’s lifestyle didn’t sync up with the message the show was trying to send.
“If one of us is not making decisions that goes with our message, then it kind of takes away from what we’re trying to do in the first place. So, it wasn’t our choice not to have her on the show with us, but we wish her the best.”
While it may not have been the Teen Mom cast members’ decision to not invite Farrah Abraham back to the show, there is no doubt their feelings held some weight with the shows initial decision.
The Teen Mom cast has not yet spoken out about Farrah Abraham’s return to the show, but as The TV Page pointed out , some fans are not happy about her return. Needless to say, the new season of Teen Mom will definitely be interesting.
