David Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn, has posted his first image of himself and Arsenal Under 16s teammates to his Instagram followers.
Appearing centre, but looking shy and almost crowded out by bigger players in the locker room, Beckham’s image is simply entitled “Squad.”
Clearly aiming to replicate his Dad’s success on the pitch, 15-year-old Brooklyn appears in a red Arsenal tracksuit, sporting a familiar windswept tuft of blond hair.
After trials with English soccer clubs including Chelsea, Fulham, Manchester United, and Queens Parks Rangers, Beckham reportedly signed a short-term deal with Premier League club Arsenal back in November. It was said that he impressed several clubs but decided to pick Arsenal , where the Beckhams have strong connections despite the famous ties to Manchester United.
Cruz Beckham, the former LA Galaxy midfielder’s youngest son, is a member of the Under-10 side at Arsenal while Romeo, 12, plays for Arsenal’s Under-13s.
Brooklyn’s football career seems incompatible with rumored romancing of actor Chloe Moretz, although he’s also been spotted out on the town with singer Tallia Storm and celebrity blogger Tessie Hartmann. Whichever way his career pans out, it’s unlikely Brooklyn will suffer a lack of interest on that score.
This is the latest snap in a series of Instagram shots giving Brooklyn fans access to his professional and personal life. Since joining Instagram last November, his images have included a New Year’s Eve celebration, where he’s seen hugging his Mum and Dad. He looks tired and emotional and not at all like he’s been drinking alcohol.

There’s also a series of family shots which were believed to be taken on a break in the Maldives. In this heartwarming sunset shot titled “Brothers,” Brooklyn appears to have an arm around younger sibling Romeo.

He’s also given his followers a peep into his life as a fashion model, and as a football fan, watching a match at Chelsea.
Whether any of David Beckham’s boys can emulate his success on the field remains to be seen, but it’s clear from the images shared that family values have been firmly instilled into his children.
