Taylor Swift has proven she takes her own advice by shaking off the hacking attack she faced yesterday.
Swift’s Instagram and Twitter were hacked into yesterday afternoon. So what did these hackers do once they got into Swift’s accounts?
They first broke into Swift’s Twitter. Then they sent out a message to all of Swifts millions of fans, the second largest following on all of Twitter, to follow the supposed Lizard Squad “ leader ” according to Yahoo News . Once Taylor and Twitter realized that her account had been hacked, Twitter responded within fifteen minutes, deleting all tweets and restoring Swift’s account’s privacy.
But they weren’t done yet! Once they got kicked out of her Twitter, they headed to Swift’s Instagram account. The Lizard Squad had the same M.O., pleading with Swift’s fans to follow another member of the hacker group.
While it was sent out to Taylor’s 20 million followers on Instagram, Instagram worked quickly to remove the “offending photo.”
And if that weren’t enough, this Lizard Squad claimed that they have “nude photos” of Swift that they would release if they didn’t receive “bitcoin.”
Swift’s response is absolutely priceless. She begins her take back of her own Twitter account by thanking the friend that first alerted her to the hack.

She also pokes fun at the situation, parodying her own song.

Fans seemed to thoroughly enjoy that tweet, supporting Swift with the tweet being favorited over 86,000 times and retweeted over 53,000 times.
And then there was the tweet that, whether you like or her not, demands you respect Swift.

How many starlets today could honestly say, “You got nothing.” Best reaction ever.
So who is this Lizard Squad?
They are that hacker group that took the blame for ruining a lot of people’s Christmas by hacking into the Microsoft and Sony gaming networks that prevented kids all over the world from using their newest toys over their Christmas break.
Also, according to the BBC , when one of the members who refers to himself as Member Two spoke to the BBC , he claimed that the reason the group hacks sites is “ because we can .”
Member Two also claimed that they do it to show weaknesses in the systems they hack.
They may have looked for a weakness in Swift’s Twitter account, but they surely didn’t find a weakness in Taylor Swift herself.
