Sofia Vergara and new fiancé Joe Manganiello are currently in the midst of making wedding plans, and even though they only dated for six months before getting engaged, the celebrity couple appear to be very much in love.
According to the Modern Family star, the fall wedding is gonna be big, very big, and apparently, it’s all “about the bling bling.”
Access Hollywood ‘s Shaun Robinson caught up with Sofia Vergara on the red carpet for Sunday’s Screen Actors Guild awards, where she shared with him some details about the forthcoming wedding.
As was to be expected Sofia looked as stunning as ever, wearing a curve-hugging, red, Donna Karan Atelier gown and a huge diamond proudly on her ring finger.
Sofia shared with Robinson, “You know with me it’s all about the bling bling so he knew what I needed. I opened it up and I checked it to see,” she joked, acting out biting on the diamond to make sure it was real. “And then I was like, ‘Yes!’ No I’m joking, he’s so handsome that I would have said ‘OK’ anyway.”
As was widely reported a the time, Manganiello , proposed to Vergara over the Christmas holidays, with the two stars having dated since the summer, following Sofia’s broken engagement to ex-boyfriend Nick Loeb.
Sofia Vergara shared with Us magazine that at the moment, it’s all about making wedding plans, big wedding plans. “We’re trying right now to figure it out. He’s shooting and promoting Magic Mike and I’m promoting my movie with Reese Witherspoon, so we’re kind of busy so we’re trying to do it maybe [this] fall, this summer is too busy.”
And even though the actual date of the wedding is yet to be confirmed, it is slated to be a big event with lots and lots of guests. “It’s going to be big,” Sofia revealed, “We started off with 20 [on the guest list], and now there’s like pages and pages.”
