Amid rumors that Jessa Duggar is pregnant, the reality star headed to march in a pro-life rally in Arkansas with her husband, Ben Seewald. It should come as no surprise that Jessa is pro-life, given her Christian upbringing, but people still slammed her for taking a stand. According to SheKnows , an explosive debate between pro-life and pro-choice supporters broke out on Jessa’s Instagram page.
“Headed to Little Rock right now for the annual March for Life … together let us take a stand for the life of the unborn,” Jessa wrote. She posted a couple of photos from the rally, which she was very proud to be a part of. Naturally, quite a few people had a problem with that, and didn’t hesitate to voice their opinions on Jessa’s account.
Jessa Duggar has caused controversy before. While she is only 22-years-old, Jessa is easily one of the most outspoken children of 19 Kids And Counting stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Each time Jessa says or does something controversial, however, the media is on top of her.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Jessa and Ben recently met with former governor Mike Huckabee , who may be a presidential candidate for the Republican party. Of course, taking a political stand is going to cause outrage. The family didn’t shy away from sharing their experience, however.
“We had a great day yesterday attending the swearing in and the inaugural ball dinner for our good friend and new Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson. We also spent a little time with our friend, Governor Mike Huckabee who also joined the activities of the day,” read a post on the 19 Kids And Counting Facebook page at the time.
Jessa Duggar pregnancy rumors kicked into high gear last month when photos of her “covering” her stomach surfaced. According to the International Business Times , those rumors still haven’t gone away. However, it seems as though Jessa’s attendance at the March for Life rally was completely unrelated to a possible pregnancy. Obviously Jessa and Ben are married, and they want to have a family together. Abortion would be completely out of the question for any Duggar family member, as that’s not something that they believe in.
As for the popular TLC show, it will return for a ninth season in February. Jill Duggar’s pregnancy with be highlighted, as will her newlywed life. Jessa and Ben’s wedding will also be on the show. It’s unknown if the family has any kind of special announcements planned, but if Jessa is pregnant, that news will come out sooner rather than later.
