Leah Messer’s horse has caused quite the stir on Facebook. After adding two photos of the horse to her Facebook page, one of which featured her daughter, Ali, and the other with Aleeah, Messer faced backlash.
According to fans, there were a number of issues with the photos of Leah Messer’s horse, including the money involved, the lack of a pad, and the children’s missing helmets.
Below are a few of the comments posted to the January 14 photos.
“How about the fact that they shouldn’t have taken on the extra expenses that a horse is if they have Ali’s medical bills to pay.”
“The only issue I have is the age of the horse 2 year old are still very unpredictable and the fact that there is no pad. And I don’t think any horse would think that’s comfortable, that’s one way horses get saddle sores aside from a saddle not fitting properly.”
“Look into a good saddle pad, get a brush to brush him down before saddling him up, and invest in some helmets even if they are cheap ones. You want to prevent any sores on the big guy and the girls need their heads protected.”
In response to her follower’s reaction, Messer shared the following message , directed at one particular commenter named Sandy.
“Thank you Sandy.. You actually seem to know about horses. I’m learning, of course but our horse is doing a lot better and gaining weight and that’s the only time he has went without a saddle pad. He’s also a 2 year old TWH. My girls got on him long enough to take a picture.. I know that is and is not safe for them!!”
In a January 16 report by Wetpaint Entertainment , two additional comments made about Leah Messer’s horse’s weight was revealed.
“He’s under wait [sic] and lacking a lot of minerals.”
“You can see it’s [sic] backbone.”
In other Leah Messer news, the reality star’s ex-husband, Corey Simms, recently began filming Teen Mom 2 Season 6. As the Inquisitr reported, Simms’ dad, Jeff, posted a photo of Simms and his wife , Miranda, on Twitter, earlier this week.
Last year, Messer announced she was quitting Teen Mom 2 on Twitter, telling her fans she would not be back, but that she wished her co-stars well. However, weeks later, the Ashley’s Reality Roundup confirmed she had signed on for Season 6 .
Although Teen Mom 2 is currently filming, it’s unclear if Leah Messer’s horse will be featured on the show.
