Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith welcomed their first child together in June, and already, rumors have surfaced claiming the Teen Mom 2 star could be pregnant yet again.
After sharing a photo online which made it appear that the reality star had recently gained weight, reports swirled regarding an alleged third pregnancy. However, being an active social media participant, Evans quickly denied the rumors.
As the Inquisitr reported, Evans set the record straight with a photo, which showed no sign of a baby bump. “New rumor is I’m pregnant, or just fat they claim. Tell me what u think,” she wrote .
Days later, Evans spoke to Rumorfix , revealing she and Griffin won’t be having any more children in the near future. “No way!” Evans told the site . “I have the birth control implant in my arm called Nexplanon. It lasts for three years, unless I get that surgically removed then I won’t be getting pregnant anytime soon!”
Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith began dating in June 2013. After discovering her pregnancy in December 2013, Evans, who also has older son Jace, revealed her baby news to MTV’s Remote Control blog.
“We just want a child of our own that we can raise together as a family, and we want a stable relationship for Jace and his daughter,” she said. “We just want to settle down. It works because he doesn’t like drugs, barely drinks, nothing like that,” she continued.
As for how she felt about the news of baby number two, Evans claimed she was far more prepared than she was the first time around.
“I think it would scare me more if I was in the situation I was when I had Jace. Now I’m in a stable relationship and I have my own place, my own car, a job…I can pay my bills. I’m just happy with my life right now. I’ve got my life together now, and I’m a different person from what [fans have] seen. I just can’t wait for them to see how much I’ve bettered my life. I understand if they judge me now, but they won’t judge me soon.”
In addition to pregnancy rumors, Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith have been dodging engagement rumors. Last month, after the Teen Mom 2 star shared a photo of a diamond ring, headlines claimed she and Griffin were engaged. However, she later confirmed the ring was not a gift from Griffin. Instead, it was something her landlord got her for her birthday.
“Beautiful ring from my new friend/landlord lol,” she explained to fans as reported by the Inquisitr , along with a photo of the ring.
Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith will return to MTV for Teen Mom 2 season six next year.
