The 2015 HGTV Dream Home Sweepstakes is a must-enter giveaway, especially if you could use $1.4 million in cash. This year, HGTV is giving the grand prize winner a cash option, if they don’t want the sprawling 3,200-square-foot home in Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts that is only accessible by boat or plane.

Entering the sweepstakes is the easy part — just fill out a brief form on the HGTV Dream Home sweepstakes site daily until February 17 and wait to find out if you win. The difficult part will be deciding which prize package you want — if you’re lucky enough to win this year’s giveaway.

About.com states that the winner will have to choose between the cash option or the house, but both options include a brand-new 2015 GMC Acadia Denali SUV and an extra check for $250,000. Undoubtedly, the extra check is to help with those pesky taxes you’re going to have to pay if you win the sweepstakes. Here are the options you can ponder while you wait to hear if you are the 2015 HGTV Dream Home Sweepstakes winner.

  • Option One: Winner will get a custom-built home in Edgartown, Massachusetts, a check for $250,000, and a 2015 GMC Acadia Denali. The prize package, valued at approximately $2.6 million before taxes, also includes the lot, landscaping, furniture, and other home furnishings.
  • Option Two: $1.45 million in cash, a 2015 GMC Acadia Denali and an additional check for $250,000. This prize package is valued at approximately $1.75 million before taxes.

The Herald Online states that the 3,200-square-foot, three-bedroom home in Martha’s Vineyard comes completely furnished and has “open and airy” floor plan. Unless island living is what you desire year round — Martha’s Vineyard is only accessible by boat or plane — this home would be perfect to use as a summer home for families who enjoy spending time in a community that features “cozy taverns, quaint shops and unspoiled beaches.”

Before you decide whether you would want $1.45 million in cash or a stunning home in Massachusetts, consider this — if you become the owner of the 2015 HGTV Dream Home, there’s an extra perk of a swanky club membership that may add to your indecision.

HGTV states that the winner of the home will also receive a membership in the Field Club, which features eight tennis courts, a lawn game area, outdoor heated pools, a deluxe spa, fitness center, and a restaurant with outdoor dining.
