Actor Liam Hemsworth reportedly has doubts about Patrick Schwarzenegger’s intentions when it comes to Miley Cyrus.
The 24-year-old actor apparently still cares for Miley even though they are no longer in a relationship and wants her to be with someone that makes her happy.
An inside source revealed to Hollywood Life that Liam Hemsworth believes Patrick has an ulterior motive for even dating Miley Cyrus in the first place.
“[Liam Hemsworth] does still care about Miley. He still feels protective of her. He hopes she’s happy but he can’t help but be a little suspicious of Patrick. He thinks he could just be using Miley for publicity. He hopes that’s not what’s happening but Liam has his doubts.”
Back in November, Us Weekly confirmed that the former Hannah Montana actress and the 21-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver were officially a couple.
However, Patrick Schwarzenegger admitted that he had a crush on Miley Crush in an interview with Details magazine three years ago.
Since the rumors of their relationship were first confirmed, there have been quite a few new rumors that have surfaced online. For instance, one report claims that the two young celebrities were secretly married .
Another report claims that Maria Shriver has forbidden Miley Cyrus from attending her family’s Christmas celebration this year.
Patrick reportedly has put his foot down, however, and insists that Miley Cyrus be allowed to attend.
Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus officially ended their year-long engagement and on-again, off-again relationship in September of 2013.
The Hunger Games actor first started dating Miley Cyrus shortly after meeting her on the set of their 2009 film, The Last Song .
Nearly one year after their relationship ended, Liam Hemsworth opened up to the public in an interview with Nylon Guys about his ongoing friendship with the singer/actress – confirming that they were still on good terms.
“There’s not much to say. There’s no bad blood there.”
Liam Hemsworth probably can at least relate to what Patrick Schwarzenegger is going through right now when it comes to close family members opposing his relationship choices.
His older brother, Chris Hemsworth, talked about Liam in a new interview with GQ magazine – expressing how he once felt about the mistakes that his younger sibling made.
“I’ve watched Liam do things I did at his age, like being in relationships he shouldn’t be in, or being reckless just to prove a point. And I had no empathy.”
Even if Liam Hemsworth has no interest in reuniting with Miley Cyrus romantically, it is apparently clear that he is at least interested in her happiness.
