The 80s sitcom-inspired The Goldbergs will be getting the Charlie Sheen treatment for an upcoming episode. According to People , Sheen will be reprising his role as “Boy in the Police Station from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off .

Seeing as this is 30 years later, Sheen at 49-years-old is obviously not a “boy,” but it will be fun to see the actor back in his signature leather jacket for the role. From the promo picture released by ABC, it looks like Sheen has an encounter in the principal’s office with Erica on The Goldbergs .

So far, we don’t know much about how Charlie Sheen’s character ends up in the principal’s office, but we do have a quick logline about the episode.

“Airing in early 2015, the episode will follow Barry (Troy Gentile) as he fakes being sick in an attempt to create his own epic, Bueller-esque day off.”

Seeing as it’s Barry, the older brother, who fails upwards in trying to be cool, it’s safe to say his day will end in a giant disaster. Pops and younger brother Adam try to assist Barry, but this only makes Barry’s problems worse.

Meanwhile, sister Erica will meet Charlie Sheen’s Ferris Bueller character by ratting out on her brother.

This particular episode will air when The Goldbergs return in 2015. Here’s the original clip of Charlie Sheen’s “Boy in the Police Station.”

The Goldbergs isn’t the only television show that Sheen is reprising an iconic role on. As the Inquisitr reported, Sheen may be coming back to wrap up on Two and a Half Men . The show used to star Sheen, until he was fired from the production in 2011. Now it stars Ashton Kutcher, and since they’re heading into the series finale, Sheen wants to put everything to bed and make good of his return.

While Kutcher didn’t tell Ellen DeGeneres if it was definitely happening, all signs point to Sheen appearing in some form on the show, which Kutcher isn’t too happy about.

When asked earlier in the year if it was possible to make a return on the show, Sheen said, “I would definitely do it, yeah; if they’ll have me, I will be there. I just think I owe it some measure of closure. I owe it to the fans, I owe it myself. I owe it to Chuck [Lorre], Jon [Cryer]. Yeah, I just think it makes sense.”
