Earlier this week, Ava shared a photo of a snow globe with a tiny bare Christmas tree. She captioned this photo with “merry minimalist Christmas @ryanphillippe.”
Both Ryan and Reese chimed in on the photo share with their comments. Ryan tried to defend himself by saying “A little excessive.” Reese chimed in with “Very minimal.” It is clear that this family is still quite close, even years after the divorce that separated them.

Ryan also revealed that Reese took Ava and Deacon on a walk in New York City, and they thought back to how they met. The couple met on the set of Cruel Intentions , and it is was filmed in NYC. He admitted that Ava and Deacon were “tripping out on the fact that we were there shooting a movie before they were even a thought in our minds.”
