Viewers who want to watch the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2014 online will be in luck this year, with free live streaming video of the event for the first time in years.
The annual fashion event is being broadcast at 10 pm ET on Tuesday, December 9 on CBS.
The show, which started in the 1990s as a way for Victoria’s Secret to drum up publicity for its brand, was originally shown in webcasts in 1999 and 2000 before moving to a primetime network slot.
Now, the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is coming full circle, with full online coverage both before and after the event. Coverage starts on the Victoria’s Secret site, which is offering live streaming preview video starting at 9 pm.
This year’s event is already getting plenty of buzz, from the runway walks of Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Candice Swanepoel, among many others. There are even some lighter moments, including singer Ariana Grande getting smacked in the face by a pair of Angel wings during her performance.

THE VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW returns to the CBS Television Network on Tuesday, Dec. 9 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) when it crosses the pond to film in London for the first time. World-famous Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Behati Prinsloo, Karlie Kloss and Lindsay Ellingson will be a part of the show, which merges fashion, fantasy and entertainment into a runway spectacle. The show, seen in approximately 200 countries, will include musical performances, pink carpet interviews, model profiles and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the world’s most celebrated fashion show.
Those who want to watch the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2014 can check out CBS All Access , which offers free live streaming video of all broadcasts. Though the service normally comes with a fee, CBS is offering a one-week preview. Those who can wait a little bit longer will be able to catch the entire event when CBS posts it online, likely sometime on Wednesday.
