Casey Anthony is reportedly trying to get pregnant in a bid to set herself and a new child up financially with a wealthy baby’s daddy.
Sources have said that Anthony is making a list of candidates who have reached out to her in the past, and is hoping to pick a wealthy man to get her pregnant .
Though the plan may sound far-fetched, it fits with past reports of Anthony’s lifestyle . After her 2011 acquittal for killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, Casey Anthony went into hiding and worked in a series of low-profile jobs. News outlets followed Casey and reported on her sporadic sightings , including reports this summer that she had taken up Siesta Key, Florida.
There, a local private eye and blogger named Bill Warner found that Casey Anthony was actually living a carefree lifestyle consisting of drinking at bars and partying.
Warner wrote , “Casey Anthony supposed sighting in Morton’s Grocery Store Sarasota FL and rumors that she parties and frequents bars on Siesta Key within walking distance to her rental house, her Florida drivers license has expired.”
A source added that Casey’s lifestyle was bankrolled thanks to “a few benefactors” who are obsessed with her and insist that they “pay for everything.” Reports that Casey Anthony wants to be pregnant could mean that she is searching through these benefactors for an appropriately rich father.
But others have thrown cold water on reports that Casey Anthony is living large after her acquittal. Her lawyer, Cheney Mason, said in a USA Today story that Casey can barely show herself in public.
“She hasn’t been freed from her incarceration yet ’cause she can’t go out,” he said, adding, “She can’t go to a beauty parlor, she can’t go shopping to a department store, she can’t go to a restaurant, she can’t even go to McDonald’s. She can’t do anything.”
This is not the first time that rumors have claimed that Casey Anthony is pregnant. There was a report several months ago that the notorious Florida woman was pregnant and carrying twins, a rumor later debunked.
