Miss Sharon, known from The Real Housewives Of Atlanta, has died. According to Us Weekly , Todd Tucker’s mother passed away on Tuesday after suffering a stroke the day before .
“A devastated Tucker was in Atlanta when he received a call from New York, where his mother was, to inform him of the situation. His mother was reportedly unconscious when Tucker arrived at the hospital. She later slipped into a coma before passing away on Tuesday,” reports Us Weekly .
Miss Sharon’s passing is heartbreaking for many, especially her family. According to TMZ , Sharon passed away with Todd and Kandi by her side . The two flew to New York City from Atlanta right after they found out that Todd’s mom had a stroke.
Todd Tucker took to Instagram to honor his mom not long after her sudden passing.
“Today I lost my partner, my ride or die my best friend! I don’t know what to do? I’m lost! My heart hurts so much! She was a fighter, a warrior for her son! It was me and her against the world! She’s in a better place!! Mom I love you to death! Rest in peace,” Tucker wrote. His wife, Kandi Burruss (who is a Housewife on RHOA ), also paid tribute on Instagram.
“Today has been a tough day. Our family has suffered a terrible loss. Sharon was the best mother in-law! She was fun, energetic, loving, & caring. I loved how she liked to get up & go all the time. She would get you in check one minute & give you a hug the next minute.”
Miss Sharon was quite a firecracker on RHOA . She is known for getting into it with Kandi’s mom, Mama Joyce, and she even got mouthy with Kandi from time to time, but there was always a lot of love there (plus, no one knows how much of that was exaggerated for television).
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , the new season of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta has some tense moments between Mama Sharon and Mama Joyce. According to sources, the two women get into a pretty nasty fight, and rumors that there was a physical altercation have been flying. It is presumed that Bravo won’t edit any of the footage, but you never know.
“Your mother, I will punch her in the mouth,” Mama Sharon can be heard saying to Kandi at one point.
RIP Mama Sharon.
