Bad news, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder fans. Nina is reportedly dating her ex-boyfriend’s close buddy, Mark Foster, of the band Foster The People.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry , Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder’s relationship ended in 2013 but the couple have been feuding ever since Somerhalder started dating Dobrev’s former friend Nikki Reed.
Ian Somerhalder allegedly moved Nikki Reed down to Atlanta, Georgia, with him where he and Nina Dobrev film their hit show The Vampire Diaries , and has been bringing Nikki to the set frequently, which has been driving Nina absolutely crazy.
Nina Dobrev was trying to hide her secret boyfriend from Ian Somerhalder, and the media, but the cat may be out of the bag as she’s been spending a lot of time with Ian’s friend Mark Foster.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , fans of The Vampire Diaries have been on edge about the rumors that Nina Dobrev and/or Ian Somerhalder could be leaving the show because of their issues with one another after Season 6, which is currently airing on the CW network.
Meanwhile, even if Nina and Ian have put their differences aside for the sake of The Vampire Diaries future, Dobrev’s relationship with Mark Foster could mean trouble for the show if Somerhalder gets upset about his friend dating his ex-girlfriend.
Meanwhile, many believe that Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are simply moving on with their lives, and that neither one of them now has any reason to be upset with the other as they are both dating each other’s friends.
Maybe one day in the future Nina and Ian can get back to being friends, but as for now, it seems it may be important for them to maintain a professional relationship — and nothing more.
Ian Somerhalder seems very happy with Nikki Reed and the two are living together, adopting pets together, and just look genuinely in love.
Meanwhile, the younger Nina Dobrev is hanging with friends, allegedly dating around as she’s been linked to Orlando Bloom, Liam Hemsworth, and Derek Hough, and just trying to figure out what her next step in life should be.
Hopefully, that step consists of staying on The Vampire Diaries , as it seems there is so much more Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder can bring to that show.
