Bruce Jenner was driving a $500,000 car when it wrecked during a race. According to Page Six , Bruce and his son Burt were in Baja, Mexico, for the annual Baja 1000 off-road race. The guys were racing in a $500,000 truck with Bruce behind the wheel when they crashed into a ditch. Neither Bruce or Burt were hurt in the accident, but the guys did seem to have a fun time as evidenced by Burt’s Instagram account.
“We had a blast, learned a ton about Baja, made a bunch of new friends who I will remember for life, didn’t bend the truck (even though we went off twice) and we came home safe,” Burt wrote on Instagram .
Bruce Jenner’s $500,000 wreck damaged the car he was riding in, but he and Burt didn’t seem too concerned. According to the report, the guys received over $1 million to take part in the race. However, it sounds like the experience was better than the money.
“Well I don’t want to say the race didn’t go as planned, because it did… we had a blast, learned a ton about Baja, made a bunch of new friends who I will remember for life, didn’t bend the truck (even though we went off twice) and we came home safe… in this picture is the group of people who helped us out in the middle of the desert when we broke the truck and offered us pizza and beer and radios… at this point after hours in the desert dad and I were starving, thirsty, and needed a radio to signal our race was over… they pretty much solved all our problems and made life good again,” Burt captioned another photo.
According to Design & Trend , the accident occurred on Thursday. The guys were disqualified from the race because too many hours went by before they could get the vehicle back on the track. Even still, it looks like Bruce and Burt had a great father-son bonding weekend.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Bruce has been spending a lot of time doing his own thing lately . Since his split from ex Kris Jenner, Bruce has been hanging out more with his kids and having a good time without anyone telling him that he can’t. Bruce’s mother is happy that her son has escaped from under Kris’ thumb, and it sounds like he is happy too.
