Stanley Tucci may have starred with Emily Blunt in “The Devil Wears Prada,” but he fell in love with Blunt’s sister Felicity. Tucci and Felicity announced their engagement last night at the premier of Rampart in downtown New York.
Tucci worked with Emily Blunt in 2006, and apparently the British actress thought that he would be perfect for his sister.
A source close to the Blunt girls told US Weekly :
“Emily loved Stanley on the set of Devil Wears Prada , and just thought they would hit it off, so she set them up.”
This will be Stanley Tucci’s second marriage. Tucci’s first wife, Kate, passed away in 2009. They had three kids together. At the time of her passing, Tucci said:
“My wife was an extraordinary person who showed us all what great strength is.”
According to the source, moving on has been difficult for the Oscar nominated actor. But he is very happy to have found Felicity.
“It hasn’t been easy for him getting into a new relationship, but Felicity is a lovely person and very warm and comforting.”
E! reports that Felicity Blunt is a literary agent in London.
At an after-party for the movie Rampart, Felicity showed off her engagement ring as Tucci introduced his fiance to celebrities like Ben Stiller and wife Christine Taylor, Billy Crudup and director Abel Ferrara.
