Claudia Jordan has been confirmed as the new cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta for this upcoming season. There have been many changes happening in Atlanta, as Porsha Williams was demoted to a friend of the housewives. In addition, Phaedra Parks has been going through some emotional turmoil, as she has been debating whether to file for divorce. Fans will see what led up to her decision on the upcoming season of the show.
And with all of the drama, Claudia Jordan’s entry to the cast may be a refreshing one. NeNe Leakes tends to fight with everyone, Phaedra Parks can’t get over the texting scandal with Kenya Moore, and Kandi Burruss has been trying to move forward with Todd Tucker, despite her mother’s harsh words and actions. It sounds like Claudia will give something new to the show.
According to a new Bravo report, Claudia Jordan is now revealing that she is very humbled to be on the show but admits that reality television does scare her a little. Jordan does have previous reality television experience.
“[I’m] very humbled,” she said on the Rick Smiley Morning Show , adding, “I’m just very grateful for the opportunity.”
Claudia Jordan does have experience with being on reality television, as she was on Celebrity Apprentice: All Stars , where she had to fight to win. And Jordan may bring that fighting attitude to The Real Housewives of Atlanta .
“I was always nervous about reality TV…It always scared me,” she said. “If anyone kinda starts with me, I will pop off and say something smart, but there will be no violence; there will be no embarrassing myself. I’m 41 years old. I’ll probably pull a hamstring or something.”
But Claudia Jordan isn’t going in blind; Jordan does have connections with the cast already. She has been friends with Brandon DeShazer , who has been Kenya Moore’s good friend for a long time.
“I’ve known Claudia for over a decade now,” DeShazer recently saying, adding, “She is one of the realest chicks that I know, and she’s got a mouth on her … she flew into Atlanta and took it by storm.”
Claudia Jordan is taking over from Porsha Williams, who didn’t have enough of a story line to stay a full-time housewife, according to The Inquisitr .
“It had nothing to do with anything that happened at the reunion last season,” Andy Cohen has said of the demotion, adding, “Really, it was about the amount of story we got from Porsha this season.”
