Fans who are anticipating a meeting between Arrow and The Flash got a treat on Thursday when some new set photos hit the net. The images show a fight between the two superheroes, in which Oliver Queen puts The Flash in a chokehold.
DC Comics is consolidating its presence on the small screen, with the successful premiere of Gotham on Monday and the upcoming Constantine , Super Girl , and the rumored (Teen) Titans . However, the Arrow and The Flash crossover episodes are hugely awaited.
The only thing we know for certain is that the crossover, where Queen and Barry Allen meet face to face, will take place during Episode 8 of both shows. It has been reported that the episodes will be about two-hours long. Even though this is not the first time the heroes meet, it’s the first time they fight it out.
Just Jared has a few set photos in which we see Amell and Gustin observing as, presumably, their stunt doubles get into a fight with each other. Arrow seems to come out on top, as one of the photos show him putting The Flash into a choke hold.

Meanwhile, both Arrow star Stephen Amell and The Flash lead Grant Gustin shared some images of their time on set on social media. Arnell posted this photo of the superheroes’ legs, while Gustin posted an image of the two actors on Instagram a few days ago.
DC Comics are definitely making a dent on television programming. In a recent interview, CW President Mark Pedowitz was asked if there were more plans for future spin-offs.
“What you’ll see embedded in ‘Flash’ and ‘Arrow’ is that we’ll have the ability to test characters out. Is there room to grow them into the next show? I cannot tell you yet. There are discussions going on.”
The CW will premiere Season 3 of Arrow on October 8, while the spin-off The Flash is scheduled to premiere on October 7. Stephen Amell returns to the role of Oliver Queen, a billionaire playboy who turns vigilante, while Grant Gustin plays The Flash, the fastest human on Earth.
