Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are contemplating moving in together, just a few short weeks after their reconciliation.
Bieber is believed to have asked his on-again, off-again girlfriend to move into his home in Los Angeles, which, up until they got back together, was regarded as a party house. The duo have been spending an inordinate amount of time together recently, but it’s thought that they immediately picked up where they left off when they decided to re-start their relationship.
20-year-old Bieber wants to now take his courtship with 22-year-old Gomez to the next level, which will start with the pair sharing the same home. According to an insider, who spoke to Hollywood Life , “Selena and Justin are a hundred percent together right now. He’s asked her to move in with him and she couldn’t be happier.”
However, Gomez isn’t convinced that it’s the right time to make the move. She feels that because of their rocky history, and the fact that they’ve only just reunited, they should be more patient and wait until the perfect opportunity.
“She’s still being cautious,” the source continued. “She’s not going to give up her place, that way if anything goes wrong or if she decides she needs some space, she’ll have her own spot to go to.” Despite all of these concerns, Gomez is still going to actually give it a whirl though. “Officially she’s going to be living with him. It’s a huge step,” the insider confirmed.
What’s still up in the air though is exactly which home Gomez will be moving into. Because of his success, Bieber owns several properties in the Los Angeles area. Recently he has been spending most of his time in a Beverly Hills condominium that he has been renting, while he also rents a Hollywood Hills mansion, which even comes with its own night-club.
The insider also went on to confirm that Gomez had to do a lot of soul-searching before she finally caved into Bieber’s request to get back together. “Selena trusts him,” they noted. “She had to let go of her jealousy and stop worrying about other girls. He’s promised her that she’s the only one, and she believes him. Since they got back together, he hasn’t given her any reason to worry – so she’s not going to.”
