When it comes to boxing, Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. is known as the best of the best. With his undefeated record still intact and millions and millions of dollars in his name, he is probably considered one of the hottest names in the sport.

However, there is a lot of controversy surrounding him too. The Inquisitr reported on such controversies, which includes his poor reading level and how he panned critics of this by showing off his millions . Nevertheless, money and an undefeated streak doesn’t mean Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a winner as detailed in an article on why he is still a loser .

Now of recent reports, we can add non-tipper to the list of Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s bad qualities because he did not tip the waitress who served him $25,000 worth of booze and food at a celebration party.

According to TMZ , Floyd Mayweather Jr. made $32 million on Saturday when he beat Marcos Maidana. He and his crew – which included Jamie Foxx – went to the Hard Rock to celebrate his win. Their server, Nik Nguyen, thought she’d hit the jackpot when she saw Mayweather and his crew walk in. She even thought this more with how much they ordered which included the following on their tab.

  • 5 bottles of Patron – $2,375
  • 3 Grey Goose – $1,425
  • 6 bottles of Ciroc – $2,850
  • 20 bottles of Luc Belaire Rose champagne – $11,500
  • 1 6-liter bottle of Luc Belaire Rose – $6,500
  • 200 chicken wings – $600
  • 1 fruit platter – $55

Altogether, the bill came up to be $25,305. That is hardly a dent in Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s paycheck yet he could not leave at least 10 percent for the waitress? That’s just $2,530! He spent more money on one bottle of booze yet he couldn’t give less than 1 percent of his pay to Nik Nguyen? That is a shame especially since Nguyen tells TMZ that she went the extra mile providing Mayweather and his crew excellent service. Maybe it is because Hard Rock surprisingly comped Mayweather and his crew in which they showed their gratitude with chicken bones and empty bottles.

What is even more unsettling is that Mayweather’s entourage didn’t mind dropping dollars like it was nothing but only to random girls twerking on stage. According to Mad World News , the security guards were able to pick up some of the random dollars left behind and give them to her. She does need the money because she’s been struggling between two jobs after her father died recently.

What do you think about Floyd “Money” Mayweather’s poor tipping etiquette. Do you think he was being a lowlife by not tipping Nik Nguyen or do you think this may have been a situation that originated from Hard Rock comping their tab?
