These Two Cats Play A Super Cute Game Of Peek-A-Boo, But What Is Really Going On Here?

What happens when you have two cats together in the same house? In the end, usually there are very few problems. But at first, the two cats can be very cautious around each other.

Watch this hysterical video of what can only be described as a cat game of peek-a-boo and you’ll see what we mean.

One cat is usually the “alpha” or dominant kitty. The other, well, he or she treads lightly, at least until the two cats get to know each other very well.

If you are planning to get your cat a companion, cat behavior experts say that you must keep the two cats separated at first, so make sure you have enough space in your home to give each one its own room, complete with food and litter.

After a few days, switch them around, so each cat becomes acquainted with the other’s scent.

When you introduce the cats visually, it’s often a good idea to keep them apart with a screen. Expect some hissing and growling at first. Cats are extremely protective of their territory.

But eventually, you’ll have two cats who get along — they may even become great friends — and you won’t see too many more scenes like the one in this video, hilarious as it may be!
