Up and coming pop star Austin Mahone recently confessed in an interview that he’s never been in love.
According to EN Starz, even though Austin Mahone has dated Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello and Becky G, he’s never actually known what it’s like to be in love with someone. But Austin is staying optimistic about his romantic future.
“I’m sure when it hits me, it’ll hit me,” Austin said. Austin also made some other somewhat depressing confessions. He spoke to St. Louis Today about how he’s constantly likened to Justin Bieber, but he admitted he doesn’t really compare at all.
“I may not be the best dancer or the best performer right now, but I’m always getting better,” Mahone said. “Next year I’ll be even better than I am now. And the year after that, I’ll just keep getting better.”
Not only is Austin becoming a better performer, he’s becoming a bigger one. And there aren’t any signs that Austin will be stopping soon. He’s already got his next album in the works.
“I have one EP out now and the reaction has been great,” Mahone said in an interview with Cleveland.com . “After the tour I’m going back to Miami to work on my first full length. I’m excited to start recording.”
Fans can expect the latest Austin Mahone album to be released by November of this year. His recent EP release was meant to be “kind of a little side project,” according to Austin. “I was putting out just to get more material out there, basically.”
According to the Daily Tribune , when asked if he was going to make any major creative changes with the new music, Austin explained that his style would remain basically the same.
“I’m probably going to stick with pop for the most part, but I’ll try some different styles, too,” said Mahone. “I’m gonna jump out to a little more EDM, maybe some R&B, different stuff like that.”
Austin may not be able to get back into recording right away, however, since he’s currently in the middle of a world tour with Fifth Harmony, The Vamps and Shawn Mendes. Austin Mahone is signed to Lil Wayne’s Cash Money/Young Money record label.
