Is Jon Gosselin preparing to take Kate Gosselin to court for an epic custody battle?
According to WebProNews , the estranged ex-husband of Kate Gosselin might be heading to court after his wife allegedly canceled his visitations with their eight children. A source close to Jon tells Life & Style Magazine that he would love to get custody of his kids and take them away from their mother, whom he feels, isn’t giving them a “normal childhood.”
“He would love to take her to court and get total custody of his kids. He doesn’t want them on TV and he doesn’t want Kate’s influence on them. He’ll do whatever it takes. Jon feels bad for them. It’s not a normal childhood. They love spending time with Jon and wish they could see him more.”
Jon Gosselin hasn’t been in the public eye lately, as he says he prefers life out of the spotlight — and that’s fine. However, hearing that he wants to take Kate to court and get custody of his kids is a little strange. While some might say they don’t blame the guy, his eight children really need their mother — whether you like her or not. In fairness, however, they need their father too.
According to Reality TV Magazine , an expert has weighed in on the case, and has said that if Kate purposely keeps her children away from their dad, and he takes her to court, a judge could alter the couple’s previous custody agreement. That means that it’s possible that Jon could obtain primary custody of his brood.
“If Kate is keeping the children away from their father, she leaves herself open to upsetting the court and they could change custody.”
Of course Jon Gosselin hasn’t said anything about this, and no one has officially commented on the rumors that Kate’s kids are being kept from their dad. According to The Inquisitr , Kate has completely ignored the rumors and has been totally focused on getting her kids in back-to-school mode.
It’s hard to imagine Jon actually going to court and standing up to his ex-wife, and it’s hard to say whether or not a judge would side with him. He hasn’t done much to keep his kids off of television… and his children are all healthy and happy… so maybe he is just thinking about getting custody but isn’t planning on actually doing anything about it.
