A taping of Fashion Police has been canceled due to Joan Rivers’ hospitalization. According to The New York Daily News , E! has canceled a taping of the show scheduled for this week in New York. The show was going to cover the fashion hits and misses of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week which takes place in New York from September 4 through September 11.
“Taping for Rivers’ E! News network show ‘Fashion Police’ — scheduled to take place in New York this week in conjunction with Fashion Week — has been canceled, a source told Daily News on Monday.”
Fashion Police without Joan Rivers just doesn’t seem right, and it seems as though her co-stars wouldn’t want to film without the comedian anyhow. Everyone is very torn up about what has happened to Rivers, and many are worried that isn’t going to be able to pull through. According to The Inquisitr , the hospital has not released an update on Rivers since the beginning of the long weekend. It is believed that Rivers is on life support, and that her condition has not improved since she was admitted to Mount Sinai hospital in Manhattan on Thursday.
There have been some reports that Rivers was being “woken up” from a medically induced coma, but if she is on life support, the chances of her “waking up” are slim.
Fashion Police stars Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne, and George Kotsiopoulos have all tweeted support for Joan over the past couple of days.

More Fashion Police tapings may be canceled if Joan Rivers’ condition does not improve. Of course, everyone is hoping for the best at this point.
There have been several rumors about Joan’s daughter Melissa needing to make a life or death decision for her mom. According to Hollywood Life , Melissa is said to be having a very hard time right now , which is completely understandable.
The outpouring of support for Joan Rivers has been absolutely incredible. Melissa has released three statement about her mom so far, and has continued to thank the public for the overwhelming and endless amount of tweets from well-wishers.
