Lea Michele is one of the biggest names in television at the moment and she’s also newly single. Michele’s rep confirmed on Tuesday that the actress has broken up with boyfriend Theo Stockman.
According to her rep in a statement to E! News:
“This is not a dramatic breakup, the relationship just ran its course,” while adding, “They are still friends and will always be friends.”
The couple were firsts spotted together in 2010 at the Time 100 Most Influential People Gala in New York City where they reportedly made out the entire night and ignored reporters. At the time of their “hookup” Lea drew a bunch of bad press because she was viewed by young TV watchers as a role model.
Theo has been etching out an acting career of his own, taking the stage in the uber-popular Green Day hit musical American Idiot and also appearing in some bit roles on 30 Rock and HBO’s Nurse Jackie.
News of the couples breakup shouldn’t surprise too many of Lea’s fans considering she showed up to the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday without Leo at her side.
