Kristen Stewart is known for Dating Robert Patterson, Breaking up with Robert Pattinson, Twilight, and the inability to smile. A Kristen Stewart smile is a rare sight to behold, but according to her, the smile is hidden on purpose, especially in the presence of the paparazzi.
Kristen Stewart is often a target for the paparazzi and each member of the famed club of photographers is hopeful to capture just a glimpse of a grin peaking from the corners of her lips. Kristen Stewart know this and makes attempts to hide her smile in fear that her flash bulb wielding stalkers will take it out of context and spread their own version of its presence out across the masses. Kristen Stewart shared her reasoning to Elle Magazine.
“Now I feel like if I smiled for a paparazzi photo — not that I ever would — that’s exactly what people would be desecrating me for. They’d be like, ‘Now you’re going to give it up! Now you’re a sellout.’ Like, OK. What do you want? What would you like?”
Kristen Stewart is no stranger to the paparazzi and their tactile methods of capturing her photo. She recalled a time when Twilight first released and a picture of her and an ex-boyfriend were photographed on her front porch.
“The day the movie came out, there was a picture of me — in the New York Post, I think. I was sitting on my front porch, smoking a pipe with my ex-boyfriend and dog. “and I was like, ‘Oh s***. Well, I have to be aware of that.”
Kristen Stewart has learned a lot about show business since the release of Twilight, but she has not gone the extra mile to plan out her future career options. When asked about where she would like to go from her current stardom, by Elle Magazine, Kristin Stewart explained.
“Never at any point have I sat down and plotted how I should proceed from here on. As soon as you start thinking about your career as a trajectory — like, as if you’re going to miss out on some wave or momentum — then you’re never doing anything for yourself anyway. Then you’re truly, actually, specifically working for the public. You’re turning yourself into a bag of chips.”
Kristen Stewart is still quite young and has a long career ahead of her yet. Her elusive smile is bound to keep the paparazzi hot on her heels as she frowns at their presence and smiles inside at her victorious evasion.
