I’m sorry but if you are going to all the effort of making some killer pot brownies the last thing you should do is throw them in the freeze and then forget about them. Making it even worse is when your mother finds them a year later and takes them into work to share with her co-workers who then end up going to the hosiptal.
Such was the case in Victoria B.C. when police were called to an office building to investigate what was thought to be a case of poisoning of three employees that had been taken to the hospital with symptoms of light-headedness, numbness in the limbs, and disorientation after helping themselves to the brownies their co-worker had brought in to share.
Needless to say that the son admitted to baking the brownies and while he isn’t being charged; even though he could have been, he is supposedly going to take part in community work to hold him accountable.
What the report doesn’t say is how hard he was laughing after all was said an done.
